Greg Lawler is the managing partner of Lawler, Metzger, Keeney & Logan, LLC and draws on his experience in the Executive and Legislative Branches to offer clients strategic advice about legislative and regulatory issues and investigations. Since founding LMKL, Greg has represented a diverse range of clients including investment firms, transportation companies, and telecommunication companies.
Greg served in the White House as a Senior Policy Advisor under President Clinton before entering private practice. In that role, he worked closely with other members of the White House staff, the members of the President’s Cabinet, and the White House legislative staff.
Prior to his years in the White House, Greg was the Legislative Counsel to the Governor of New Jersey, where he developed the Governor’s legislative agenda and worked with the State Legislature. Greg also served on the staff of the Energy and Commerce Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, as Chief Counsel and Staff Director of the Subcommittee on Commerce and Transportation, supervising legislative, oversight and investigative activities.
Greg is a graduate of Yale College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, and received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After law school, Greg studied for a year at the Faculté de Droit at the University of Paris I.
